H. STANLEY FELDMAN
SCHOLARSHIP IN ENVIRONMENTAL LAW
HONORING H. STANLEY FELDMAN
The H. Stanley Feldman Scholarship in Environmental
Law honors a Tulane alumnus (BA ‘75) and deeply committed legal practioner of more than 33 years. First as a Public Defender for the City of Charleston, later in private practice, and finally as a Federal Public Defender, Stanley dedicated his career to protecting vulnerable citizens. Viewing the environment as an extension of these vulnerable parties, Tulane’s Environmental Law students find legal solutions that safeguard natural resources. This work benefits picturesque coastal cities like Charleston and New Orleans, where Stanley has spent his life.
THE IMPACT OF SCHOLARSHIPS
Reducing the financial burden of Tulane Law students through scholarships empowers them to commit fully to our opportunities in research, advocacy and action. As a result, these students make an incredible impact on their communities, ultimately following in Stanley’s footsteps.
