Advancing Tulane

Law Firm Challenge

Why It's Important

The Law Firm Challenge is a critical component of the law school's efforts to build a culture of annual giving and celebrate the incredible influence of alumni. All gifts made to the Tulane Law Fund during the Challenge counting cycle help create student scholarships, expand skills-training programs and support career development, among other law school priorities.

If each firm achieves 100% participation, the Challenge will generate more than 300 donors to the law school. Your firm's participation will make a meaningful difference in the lives of current and future Tulane Law School students. Thank you for supporting the next generation of Tulane lawyers.

How It Works

The objective of the Law Firm Challenge is to strengthen local alumni connections with Tulane Law School and one another, celebrate the law school's leading employers in New Orleans and foster a culture of annual giving.

Alumni gifts to the Tulane Law Fund in any amount, made by April 30, 2026, count toward a firm's participation rate. Each firm has volunteer Challenge chairs at the partner and associate levels who work to inspire colleagues to participate. Dean Marcilynn Burke will also make a personal visit to each firm.

Your Impact
Every year, Tulane's Law Firm Challenge inspires new donors to support Tulane Law School. Firms that achieve 100% participation receive a plaque, recognition in Tulane Law School communications and an advertisement in the Louisiana Bar Journal. They are also recognized in a special report shared with alumni at participating firms.

For more information about the Challenge, please contact Rainer Madigan, Associate Director of Law Annual Giving, at rmadigan1@tulane.edu or 504-247-1232.
