Welcome to the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations. We partner with university leaders to identify and secure funding in support of Tulane’s strategic priorities. We also assist faculty and staff in pursuing private, external funding to advance programs and research initiatives.
The Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) team partners with faculty and staff to develop competitive proposals to corporations, foundations, and other private funders. You provide the technical and programmatic expertise in draft form, and we help shape that proposal to align with funder priorities and position it for success.
We also steward Tulane’s relationships with funders, helping coordinate outreach and maintain the strong partnerships that support the university’s mission. To ensure the best possible approach—and uphold Tulane’s reputation with external funders—faculty and staff should contact our office before approaching a prospective foundation or corporate partner.

Mostafijur Rahman, assistant professor of environmental health sciences at the Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, was recently awarded a Wellcome Climate Impacts Award to lead a major international effort examining how extreme heat affects human health in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
