Shape the Future of the Tulane Experience
As a Tulane parent, you have already made a meaningful investment in your student's education and future. Tuition provides the foundation for the Tulane experience, but philanthropy helps make it exceptional. Private support expands opportunities for students to engage in hands-on research, public service, study abroad, career development, mentorship, and other experiences that prepare them for success long after graduation.
When families choose to give, they help strengthen the programs and resources that enrich the student experience while opening doors for others.
Gifts to the Tulane Fund for Undergraduate Education (TFUE) provides flexible support where it is needed most, enhancing academics, student services, experiential learning, and campus life. Contributions to Scholarship Support help ensure talented students can access a Tulane education regardless of financial circumstances. Families can also support the Mussafer Initiative, which equips students with the experiences and guidance needed to thrive, and the Student Emergency Aid and Assistance Fund, which provides critical assistance when unexpected challenges threaten a student's ability to remain focused on their education.
Funding Priorities
TFUE is one of the most effective ways to support Tulane undergraduate students, reaching them through scholarships, academic research and unique experiential learning opportunities rooted in New Orleans. Since gifts are available for immediate use, the fund supports the university’s highest priorities each year, including strengthening academics and retaining top faculty.
Scholarships, study abroad funding, and undergraduate research support ensure that talented students can access transformative educational opportunities regardless of financial circumstance. Tulane offers a one-of-a-kind education in an extraordinary city, but many deserving students never consider us because they can’t afford it. Scholarships break down that barrier, opening doors for the next generation of Tulanians to thrive.
The Mussafer Internship Initiative is a bold, university-wide objective that enables every Tulane undergraduate student to have access to a high-quality, paid internship experience.
Student Emergency Aid and Assistance Fund
The college experience, like life, can be unpredictable. For students facing financial limitations, emergencies can be especially debilitating. At Tulane, the Student Emergency Assistance Fund aids students who have unanticipated personal difficulties that impose severe financial problems. This fund could allow students to continue their academic careers at Tulane and mean the difference between receiving a college degree and being forced to drop out.

In order to provide not only your child but all Tulane students with an engaging academic, social, cultural, and enriching personal experience, it calls for us as parents to take an active role in supporting Tulane.
